Collected from recordings of Los Angeles' last remaining open natural spaces, the Pacific coastline, the Santa Monica Mountains, and the Ballona Wetlands, and processed through a computational imaging technique originally developed for medical diagnostics. The algorithm amplifies micro-movements and color shifts invisible to the human eye, revealing a world of constant biological and physical activity beneath what appears still.
