Halina Kliem is a Berlin-born, Los Angeles-based artist and researcher working at the intersection of ecological imaging, film installation, and computational photography. Her ongoing project Through Borrowed Eyes uses optical and computational imaging techniques developed for medicine, engineering, and scientific research to reveal invisible vibrations in plant life, water, and air in Los Angeles’ endangered natural landscapes.
